Brunei Darussalam's contingent who took part in the 45th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme, SSEAYP, arrived safely in the country on 13th December night.
On arrival, they were welcomed by Awang Haji Zafri bin Haji Mohamed, Acting Director of Youth and Sports. The 52-days programme exposes the participants to various cultures and languages from their visit and interaction with other contingents. This year is Brunei Darussalam's 32nd participation since the country officially joined the programme in 1985. The programme was organised and fully sponsored by the government of Japan in cooperation with the ASEAN nations. It was hoped that the country's participants will utilise all the experiences gained as a platform to become more confident, proactive and productive.
