Revealing the history of 'Teng Nattapong', 37 years old, from deputy secretary of the former Move Forward Party to leader of the Prachachon Party For Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut or "Teng", the leader of the Prachachon Party, he was the former deputy secretary-general of the Move Forward Party, the Information and Digital System Development Department. He is 37 years old and was born on May 18, 1987. He is the fourth son of Mr. Suchart Ruangpanyawut, the CEO of Chananthorn Development Group Co., Ltd. (a real estate development business) and the chairman of Ruangpanyah Kehakan Co., Ltd. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University. Mr. Nattapong used to be an executive of absolute.co.th, a cloud solution provider, before entering politics. He was elected as a Bangkok MP for Constituency 28 under the former Future Forward Party in the 2019 general election. However, in the 2023 election, he ran for the party-list MP of the former Move Forward Party. Most recently , after the Constitutional Court ruled to dissolve the Move Forward Party and revoked the rights of the party's executive committee for 10 years. The name "People's Party" has been used in Thai politics four times: the first time in 1947, when it separated from the Democrat Party with Liang Chaiyakan as party leader; in 1956, it was re-established on December 27 with Somphas Uthayangkun as party leader; in 1988, it separated from the Democrat Party with Chalermphan Srivikorn as party leader; in 1998, it was re-established on March 31 with Nadda Sanitwong Na Ayutthaya as party leader; and in 2024, it was re-established after the dissolution of the Move Forward Party with Nattaphong Ruangpanyawut as party leader.
