The success achieved in life is subject to the efforts and choices made today. Hence, the students are encouraged to find a balance modules that they are interested in throughout their university years which can impact them positively. The matter was stressed by the Acting Vice-Chancellor of University Brunei Darussalam, UBD during the annual Fresher's Week of UBD of the second intake for the academic year 2018/2019, yesterday morning.
Dayang Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Yacub also remind the students to explore the issues that are important to them while they are in UBD as there are endless possibilities with lifelong learning and to be aware of the continually changing global communities.
This year, UBD welcomes almost 500 new students including 146 students from UniBridge. The three-day orientation program is organised by Student Affairs Section, in collaboration with Student Representative Council aided with volunteers by the students of UBD.
