The second school term in Tutong, Belait and Temburong District also commenced yesterday.
In Tutong District, RTB crew took a closer at the Tutong Sixth Form Centre. Students were already at the school as early as 6:30 in the morning. Their arrival at the school, either sent by their parents or guardian or using school buses, follows safety and social distancing measures that are updated from time to time. Temperature checks were also carried as soon as the students arrived at school, and hand sanitizers were provided as students lined up before attendance were taken.
Meanwhile, the Perdana Wazir Secondary School in Kuala Belait, 148 Year 8 and 11 students also began their learning session yesterday. The guideline provided by the Ministry of Health and cleanliness are highly emphasised for the second school term as the country is still facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whereas in Temburong District, 12 primary school students who will sit for public exams are back in school in small groups. As RTB crew went to Puni Primary School, a Standard Operating Procedure, SOP was provided to ensure the student’s safety and well-being. School management also take safety measures to avoid large gatherings, limit the number of students and maintain school cleanliness.
