The "Towards 100 years of scouting in Brunei Darussalam Seminar" is hoped to garner ideas and suggestions as catalyst for the Scouts Association to strive towards excellence. At such age, the movements of a voluntary organisation is very significant.
The seminar centred around a working paper on entrepreneurship that was delivered by Darussalam Enterprise or DARe. Dayangku Hajah Siti Normadinah binti Pengiran Haji Omarali, in her working paper shared that there are around 5 thousand active micro, small and medium, MSME's in the country. The working paper also publicised assistance provided by DARe and shared business opportunities among all levels of the community, as well as setting a platform to develop dynamic and sustainable MSME's in the country.
Meanwhile a working paper titled the history and direction of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association was delivered by Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali, Chief Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association. The presentation touched on the history of the association's development since its establishment with the 2024 target vision of 5 thousand members who are innovative, technology literate, environment friendly, financially stable and to become an excellent youth organisation. Among those present was Awang Haji Matussin bin Orang Kaya Sura Haji Tuba, President of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association.
