140 orphans from 71 families comprising former Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF personnel received donations at the ‘Sentuhan Kasih Ramadhan.’ The function was held at the Rimba Air Force base, yesterday morning.
The ceremony was filled with reading of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa Arwah. Donations were presented by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of RBAF and wife. The donations were raised from proceeds by the RBAF Welfare Fund; RBAF personnel; RBAF Wives Welfare Body, BAKTI; RBAF Cooperative Limited, KOWIRA, as well as individual donors.
