Singapore Premier League: Brunei DPMM FC 2 – 2 Geylang International FC

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman last night watched the Singapore Premier League match between Brunei DPMM FC and Geylang International FC. The match took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

Also present were His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's children, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah as well as other members of the Royal Family.

The visitors took the lead with a goal at the 5th minute through Yeo Hai Ngee. Brunei DPMM FC then equalised the score 13 minutes later through Adi Said. In the 43rd minute, Brunei DPMM FC doubled the score through Brian Mclean's header, but the lead soon diminished moments before the first half ended when Fairoz Hasan from Geylang International FC equalised the score.

Even though Brunei DPMM FC dominated much of the game during the second half, the national team failed to produce any goals. The result 2-all remained until the final whistle.
