Over $314,000 were received by the Pakistan Flood Humanitarian Fund 2022 Committee Secretariat which was opened for 3 months from 15th of October 2022 until 12th January 2023. Yesterday morning, the Fund’s SMS Brunei Prihatin Donation was handed over to Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs as the Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Flood Humanitarian Fund 2022. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Over $78,000 was collected from donation boxes placed at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide. Meanwhile, Datastream Digital Sendirian Berhad handed over more than $90,000 collected from donations made by DST subscribers, and donated another $5,000. Whereas Progresif Sendirian Berhad handed over a donation of more than $14,000 collected from Progresif subscribers, while Imagine Sendirian Berhad donated $3,500.
