His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam chaired the Special Meeting of the Cabinet Ministers’ Council at Istana Nurul Iman.
Also in attendance was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office. Also present to the Special Meeting were the newly appointed Deputy Ministers. Doa Selamat was read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs.
The new cabinet was sworn in on the 9th of June. The appointments of Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers were effective on 7th June 2022 for a period of 4 years.
