In conjunction with the one year anniversary since the Munajat Night Programme was organised, the Ministry of Religious Affairs held a Special Munajat Night Gathering. The programme was held on 1st October night, at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong.
The Special Munajat event included a mass Fardhu maghrib prayer led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Suhaili bin Haji Metali Al-Hafiz, followed by the Sunat Ba’diah prayer. The reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony also included a razkirah or shoirt talk delivered by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abd Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti, who also reda the Doa Munajat and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. Also present were Cabinet Ministers.
