Statistics on Exit and Entry through Immigration Control Posts

3,365 individuals were recorded entering and exiting Brunei Darussalam through the land route of the Immigration control posts on the first day of the re-opening of cross-border activities, yesterday. 70 percent of the number are foreigners.

Based on statistics from the Department of Immigration and National Registration, 3,907 individuals were recorded entering and exiting the country by air, sea and land yesterday. 489 individuals were recorded entering and exiting the country by air, and 53 individuals by sea.

Meanwhile, 1,629 vehicles were recorded entering and exiting the country through the Exit and Entry System of the Royal Customs and Excise Department at five Land Control Posts, Department of Immigration yesterday. Of the number, 1,253 were private vehicles; 310 commercial vehicles and 66 government vehicles, ambulances and others. Of the five border entry posts, the Sungai Tujoh Control Post recorded the highest number of exiting and entering vehicles of 838 vehicles.
