School leaders have been urged to continue striving towards achieving the goal of effective education and to be aware of true religious practice and morals among students. This is to ensure the students are not only excellent in the academic field but also in all other aspects because they are the country's future leaders. The call was made by Dayang Hajah Sinega binti Haji Swadi, Head of Religious Schools Division during the "Ahsanutthulab" or Students Quiz competition at the Pusar Ulak Religious School yesterday afternoon.
The competition was organised by the Department of Islamic Studies through the Religious School Leaders Committee of Brunei Satu area. With the theme, "Cergas, Cerdas dan Pantas", the competition aimed to produce students with excellent minds and enhance their knowledge before they sit for the Primary Religious School Certificate Examinations.
The participants were pupils of Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Masna Religious School; Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Haji Umar Religious School in Kampung Setia; Mabohai Religious School and Pengiran Anak Puteri Besar Religious School in Kampung Sungai Kebun. The competition was among efforts to enhance their religious knowledge.
