Temburong: Sultan Hassan Temburong Secondary School received a group of visitors comprising 88 students, including teachers and officials from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Singapore. The visit aimed to review the implementation of the Malay Language Immersion Programme for Singaporean students in the country.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the objectives of the visit included strengthening the mastery of the Malay language among Singaporean students and fostering an understanding of local culture. During their stay, various activities were organized by the school, such as attending Malay language teaching and learning sessions and participating in literature workshops. The visitors also had the opportunity to experience local traditions by visiting the Tanjung Bungar Longhouse, where they watched Iban dance performances and learned about Malay cake making. The group is scheduled to remain in the country until the 14th of November.
