Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam held a Bilateral Meeting with The Honourable Prime Minister of Australia at Baitul Mesyuarah. During the meeting, they exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, including ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations, developments in Myanmar, the Middle East, and the South China Sea.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty welcomed The Honourable to Brunei Darussalam. In his speech, The Honourable expressed gratitude for the warm welcome received during his Working Visit to Brunei Darussalam.
After the Bilateral Meeting, His Majesty and The Honourable Prime Minister of Australia signed the Brunei Darussalam-Australia Joint Statement on Energy and Food Security.
