Budapest: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has arrived in Budapest, Hungary for a State Visit set to occur on 18th November 2025. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arriving at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, His Majesty was greeted with a Static Guard of Honour. The warm welcome was extended by Dr. Tim¡r Istv¡n Szilveszter, Director-General of the S¡ndor Palace, and Ms. Katinka K³nya, Chief of Protocol of the S¡ndor Palace.
His Majesty’s arrival was also acknowledged by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Jefferson Leong Weng Hong, Charg© d’affaires ad interim Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, which serves as the Non-Resident Embassy of Brunei Darussalam to Hungary.
