Brunei Darussalam and the Sultanate of Oman shares views on labour and employment best practises and experiences. The sharing of views was made during a courtesy call from a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Manpower from the Sultanate of Oman to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The delegation, led by Saleh bin Ayel Al-Amri, Adviser to the Minister for Workforce Care, made a courtesy call to Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Home Affairs.
The delegation were briefed on the implementation of the Employment Order 2009, as well as the current foreign worker recruitment and protection practices in Brunei Darussalam.
Also present were Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel bin Rashed bin Hashel Al-Maskari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the country.
