The arrival of the holy month is certainly an awaited moment for all Muslims as it provides a huge opportunity for them to enhance their faith and piety, apart from earning multitude of blessings. An integral activity usually performed during Ramadhan is the Sunat Tarawih Prayer. Last night, Syeikh Usama Mohamad Iqbal, the Head Al-Quran Lecturer at Masjidil Haram, Makkah, led the Sunat Tarawih prayers at the Lambak Kanan Mosque.
Syeikh Usama Mohamad Iqbal has been leading the Sunat Tarawih prayer at the said mosque from last Monday and will continue to do so until Sunday. He is in the country under private invitation with collaboration of the Lambak Mosque Committee. Performing the Tarawikh prayer is Sunat muakkadah, which is a highly commendable act for Muslims to perform during the nights of Ramadhan.
