Supplication and Gratitude are Sources of Motivation for Volunteers

Gratitude, supplication and words of appreciation for volunteers and frontliners are the source of motivation for them to continue to carry out their duties to the best of their ability during the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. For family members and individuals who are undergoing quarantine and self-isolation at their respective homes, although they are unable to meet the volunteers who deliver their food ration, their services are still highly important.

Various messages containing gratitude and encouragement are left outside the door as a show of appreciation for the volunteer’s services. Although the message is only written on a piece of paper, it still carries a significant meaning.

Apart from words of gratitude, there are also supplications as well as messages for the volunteers to stay safe and remain steadfast in carrying out their duty of delivering food rations to homes in large numbers.

There are over 400 volunteers assigned at several locations nationwide to provide their services at swab and vaccination centres, the National Service, PKBN Camp, hospitals and clinics, hotels as well as food distribution centres. They are also assigned to deliver food rations to houses of individuals who are under the Quarantine Order or self-isolation.
