Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, attended the Swearing-In Ceremony for the newly appointed Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court for the Court of Appeal of Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony was held at Istana Nurul Iman on the afternoon of June 6. Also present was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony began with the reading of the Letter of Appointment by Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali, Acting Grand Chamberlain. The Honourable Sir Nicholas Blake was then sworn in as the Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court for the Court of Appeal of Brunei Darussalam before His Majesty.
In attendance were several key figures, including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office (Security and Law); Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Paduka Dayang Hajah Nor Hashimah binti Haji Mohammed Taib, Attorney General; Yang Amat Arif Dato Seri Paduka Steven Chong Wan Oon, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court; Yang Arif Awang Haji Abdullah Soefri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court; Yang Arif Awang Muhammed Faisal bin Pehin Datu Juragan Laila Diraja Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Kefli, Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court; and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamidon bin Haji Ibrahim, Private and Confidential Secretary to His Majesty.
