Legal practitioners especially Judges, Syar’ie Prosecutors, Syar’ie Lawyers and Court Officers are advised to hold intensive and academic discussions on all aspects of law related to the court. The matter was highlighted during the Shari’ah Courts Annual Assembly 2022 held yesterday afternoon at Brunei Supreme Court and Syariah Courts in the capital.
Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar, Head of Syar’ie Judge also stated that the number of cases registered and brought before the Syariah Court each year will not always be consistent and static. Therefore, the role and responsibility of every member of the Syariah Court is very important, in terms of case management to the hearing and completion of cases. The ceremony ran concurrently with the presentation of appreciation for the former staff and presentation of the Syariah Court Service Appreciation Award and Special Talk.
