The Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, TAIB and its subsidiaries, Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sendirian Berhad and Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad held a Tadarus Al-Quran Ceremony and presentation of donation to the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans, DANA. The ceremony in conjunction with Ramadhan was held yesterday afternoon at RPN Bukit Beruang Mosque in Tutong District.
In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors. Also present was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Muhammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs as Deputy Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB. The ceremony began with mass Fardhu Jumaat prayer followed by Tadarus Al-Quran. During the function, 15 orphans from personnel of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries as well as 32 orphans from Kampung Bukit Beruang received donations.
This was followed by presentation of the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans, DANA from Perbadanan TAIB, Insurans Islam TAIB Family Takaful, Insurans Islam TAIB General Takaful and Darussalam Holding Sendirian Berhad. The donation was received by Doctor Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abd Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment, Ministry of Development as DANA Acting Chief Executive Officer. Also held was distribution of food packs through the ‘Sedaqah Kotak Makanan Sungkai’ Project via drive-thru.
