New converts in the country must continue to learn Al-Quran reading to respond to the call of His Majesty, so that they can be literate in reading the Quran. According to the President of the Association of New Converts, PESAT, Ramadhan is the best opportunity for new converts to reap great rewards by reading Al-Quran.
Awang Muhammad Ashim Amrullah bin Abdul Rahman Menchok made the call when interviewed at the Tadarus and Tahlil Ceremony with new converts organised by PESAT. Through such an event, it can instill the interest of new converts in learning and reading the Quran, in addition to gaining a better understanding of the benefits of Ramadhan. The ceremony took place recently at the Islamic Da’wah Centre Hall, Bangar Town.
