The Prime Minister’s Office and the Departments under it this morning held the Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil specifically for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. The function held at the Royal Mausoleum was organised together with Jabatan Adat Istiadat Negara, State Judiciary Department and the Brunei Climate Change Secretariat.
In attendance, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The mass reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mazanan bin Yusof, Assistant Mufti for Buhuth, State Mufti Department. This was followed by the reading of Tahlil and Doa Arwah.
