Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) held two separate Hari Raya open houses for its corporate clients, stakeholders and its own staff on two consecutive days, August 11 and 12, a press release stated.
The first Hari Raya open house was held at Tarindak D’Seni Hall at Jalan Kota Baru, with about 1,000 guests comprising of TelBru’s corporate clients, customers, vendors, suppliers and stakeholders from various government agencies.
The event was a gesture of TelBru’s appreciation to its customers and stakeholders for their patronage and support to its various activities. The event was also attended by Dato Paduka Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Permanent Secretary (Policy and Investment) at the Ministry of Finance, who is also the chairman of TelBru.
Also present were the company’s board of directors and senior management members. The guests were entertained by a cultural performance of traditional songs and music.
On August 12, another open house was hosted for TelBru’s more than 900 staff at the company’s Telephone House at Sumbiling in Bandar Seri Begawan. Present was TelBru’s Chairman, Dato Paduka Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Permanent Secretary (Policy and Investment) at the Ministry of Finance, several board members and members of the senior management.
Food and drinks prepared by the company’s staff were served at the various stalls which were built and decorated by the respective divisions. The Technology and Operations Division was named the best decorated stall.
