The Minister of Health also informed that the Ministry of Health in collaboration with EVYD Technologies is conducting a Diabetes Research Study aimed at helping individuals with Type 2 Diabetes in their respective diabetes care. Among other things, the objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of digital intervention methods in diabetes care. Participation for this study started since April 2022 until the end of this month, in which 180 participants took part in the study.
The public are invited to participate in this study to help the Ministry of Health evaluate the effectiveness of the health strategies and programmes provided in this country, especially on non-communicable diseases such as diabetes. Those who are interested and meets the criteria for this study will then be invited to participate in the research. The participants of this study will receive extensive and comprehensive health monitoring from professional health coaches and nutritionists, an appropriate blood sugar level management plan and a smart fitness tracker.
