Tourism Development Department Hosts Islamic Practices Sharing Session for Tour Guides

Bandar seri begawan: The Tourism Development Department, in collaboration with the Islamic Da'wah Centre and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, recently organized a sharing session aimed at enhancing the understanding of Islamic practices among tour guides. The session saw the participation of 35 registered and licensed tour guides under the department's purview.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was designed to boost the participants' knowledge and awareness of basic Islamic practices and the fundamental principles of Syaria law in the country. This initiative is expected to enable licensed tour guides to provide accurate and appropriate information while performing their duties.

The session covered a range of topics, including prayer, fasting, ablution, and the basic principles of Syaria criminal law in the country. Held at the Islamic Da'wah Centre in Kampung Pulaie, the event aimed to equip tour guides with the necessary knowledge to communicate effectively with tourists regarding Islamic customs and laws.
