Tropical Rainforests Research

Brunei Darussalam is still covered with more than 70 percent lush-green forests. The unique feature of the country’s tropical rainforests has attracted the interest of a U.S. Fullbright Scholar to conduct research on the role of various large tree species.

Danielle Ward, who spent the last 10 months at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, in a virtual press interview yesterday afternoon, shared findings of her research at Andulau Forest Reserve.

This year, the Fullbright Programme marked its 75th anniversary. Operates in 160 countries with over 400,000 students, teachers and professionals from various fields of study, the programme also provides opportunities to conduct research and exchange ideas for complex global challenges.
