A wide range of Turkish dishes are served at the Turkish Culinary and Cultural Festival which takes place at Radisson Hotel in the capital until the 5th of November 2022.
In his speech, His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Brunei Darussalam said food has become a medium for cultural diplomacy and how it is a deeply significant instrument that shapes the visibility of a country, and even our day-to-day dietary preferences. He added, Turkish cuisine is widely seen and known to be a rich, ancient and historical cuisine that represents the Turkish as well as the Mediterranean cultures.
The festival was launched by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmad bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Di-Raja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa, the Attorney General. Other activities held include a static exhibition and photo display.
