Tutong: The Enforcement Unit of the Tutong District Office has issued a reminder to the public, companies, and business premise owners about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness. This comes after a company in the Tutong District, Syarikat Chop Eng Seng Keo, was fined for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act, Chapter 30.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Syarikat Chop Eng Seng Keo was fined two thousand dollars for dumping rubbish and failing to provide a designated rubbish disposal area. The company has been given seven days to settle the fine, underscoring the district’s commitment to enforcing environmental regulations and maintaining public hygiene.
