The delicious taste of traditional local cooking can attract tourists to the country. Among them is the 'sesagun'. In dry powder form, sesagun is a blend of sago, coconut and sugar. The favourite way to eat it is with bananas, but it can also be eaten with certain types of local kuih-muih. The kuih-muih is the Malay generic name for cakes, biscuits and pastries. A special visitor who talked favourably of the Sesagun is Her Excellency Nurul Qomar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotientary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam who talked to the RTB News Crew during a recent Tutong River Cruise.
