Two Bangladeshi Men Sentenced for Immigration Act Violations

Bandar seri begawan: Two Bangladeshi men have been sentenced for violations of the Immigration Act after they were found to have overstayed in the country following the expiration of their immigration passes. The sentences were handed down in court, marking a strict enforcement of immigration laws.

According to Radio Television Brunei, 40-year-old Mohammad Saddam received a sentence of seven months imprisonment along with three strokes of whipping after he pleaded guilty to the charges. In a separate case, Md Imran Hossain, aged 32, was sentenced to five months imprisonment and three strokes of whipping for similar offences.
