The Royal Brunei Police Force has conducted an investigation on a case related to a woman found unconscious and covered in blood at a house in Kuala Belait. In a media conference, Assistant Commissioner of Police Haji Mohammed Fadzillah bin Haji Ismail, Acting Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force as the Acting Director of Crime Investigation Department explained about the investigation conducted.
The Royal Brunei Police Force received an emergency 993 call on the 10th of October 2020 at about 8.54 in the morning about a woman found unconscious and covered in blood at a residence at the Jalan Demawangsa Indigenous Citizens Housing Land Scheme in Kuala Belait. Based on the investigations carried out by the Royal Brunei Police Force, the identity of the body was that of a 38 year old Indonesian female. Preliminary investigations found slash marks on parts of the victim’s body. The police has apprehended two suspects, who were brought to court yesterday to be remanded to assist in the investigation. The case is investigated under Section 302 which is murder in the Penal Code Chapter 22. The motive for the case is still under investigation and the case will be further mentioned on 26th of October 2020. The police urges the public to contact the police hotline 993 or report to any nearby police stations if they have any information on the incident.
