UBD Fresher’s Week for 2021/2022 Intake

Graduates are urged to be more relevant, adaptable as well as having all the skills needed to stand out to become invaluable asset to the country. Speaking at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD Fresher’s Week for the first intake of the 2021/2022 academic year yesterday morning, the Vice-Chancellor of UBD also stressed on the need to upskill and reskill in today’s world of digital era where knowledge and technical information doubles every two years.

According to Datin Doctor Dayang Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz, employers are not only looking for candidates who have excellent communication and leadership skills, but also graduates who can demonstrate skills and abilities in innovation and entrepreneurship. 1,057 students comprising 664 undergraduate students, 279 graduate students as well as 114 Unibridge students pursue their studies at UBD.
