Bandar seri begawan: Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) hosted the 2nd ASEAN University Network - Digital Transformation Thematic Network Annual Meeting, known as AUN Dx, to promote regional cooperation in ICT management, digital transformation, and governance of artificial intelligence in higher education. The event underscored UBD's ongoing efforts in the ICT field, particularly its integration of generative AI into curriculum, research, and policy, alongside a digital transformation roadmap for future development. The meeting was a two-day event held at the UBD campus.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the meeting was attended by Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, UBD Vice-Chancellor, delivered a keynote speech titled "Living with AI: The Role of UBD in Brunei's Digital Future," highlighting how artificial intelligence is transforming higher education. As the meeting host, UBD reaffirmed its commitment to fostering regional cooperation in digital transformation and ICT governance.
