Various cosmetic products; beauty; health as well as food believed to be undeclared were seized after a suspicious car was detained in Kampung Bokok, Temburong District.
The car was detained following the monitoring conducted by personnel of Bangar Police Station, Royal Brunei Police Force who found that the car was being driven at high speed and trying to exit Jalan Rataie. The police patrol later found the vehicle without a driver in one of the barracks housing. Inspection found a number of suspicious boxes at the passenger seat. The vehicle and the seized items were taken to the Bangar Police Station for preliminary investigation. Meanwhile, the investigation case and all seized items were handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department for further action.
