United Youth Camp

The 4-day United Youth Camp is hoped to cultivate leadership, patriotism, discipline, volunteerism, and commitment in team work. It was officiated yesterday afternoon at Sports Village, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

 

Dayang Umi Kalthum Binti Haji Abdul Karim, Director of Youth and Sports in her speech said the youth are facing various challenges and influences that if not taken care of wisely will result in the occurrence of undesirable things. 60 youths from the four districts are taking part in the camp organised by Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in collaboration with the association of former participants of Ship for Southeast Asia Youth Programme, SSEAYP, Bersatu. Among the activities that will be held include discussion session to voice youth concerns, propose solutions and find alternatives to national, regional and international issues.
