Updated Entry and Exit Country Conditions

With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the COVID-19 Steering Committee informed on several updates of entry and exit country conditions via air based on current risk assessments and detailed studies.

The conditions will be enforced starting 1st April 2022. Individuals entering the country via air travel are allowed to undergo quarantine at home or at hotel. Home address must be registered before departing for Brunei Darussalam through the online Arrival E-Health Declaration Form. The declaration must be completed by every individual who will be entering the country within 24 hours prior to departure, either citizen, permanent resident or foreigner, by submitting their health information such as vaccination status, COVID-19 test result and travel history. However, individuals entering the country are still required to pay for COVID-19 tests that will be conducted upon arrival.

The previously announced Travel Green List has been re-activated and updated, and includes the following countries: Australia, Cambodia, People’s Republic of China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia (air travel only), New Zealand, Republic of Singapore, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Travel to and from the said countries is no longer limited to essential travel, and is now open to non-essential travel.
