Vaccination Slots Rescheduling Process Experience Technical Problems

In the media conference, the Minister of Health also informed that the process of rescheduling vaccination slots for those who were affected by the postponement of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine is still ongoing. As the rescheduling process involves a high number of the first dose bookings, it has caused some technical problems involving several vaccination centres during the rescheduling of the vaccination booking slots when administration of first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine was reopened yesterday, 15th September.

In this regard, the Ministry of Health would like to apologise for any inconvenience that may arise from the incident. Yang Berhormat added, the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 is implemented with the aim of providing COVID-19 vaccine injections to all the citizens and residents of the country, including foreigners residing in Brunei Darussalam. The Minister of Health reminded all to abide by the instructions that have been issued to control the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country such as frequent hand washing with soap and water or using hand sanitizer, wear face mask indoors or outdoors and avoid crowded areas. Those who work from home are advised to stay home and not to go out without a purpose. Do your social responsibility and stay at home.
