Following two videos that went viral on separate incidents of bullying involving two victims, the Child and Women Abuse Crime Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation Department, Royal Brunei Police Force is investigating the matter
According to a statement from the Royal Brunei Police Force, both incidents were recently reported at the Bandar Seri Begawan Police Station. Both cases are investigated under Section 3-2-3, Criminal Penal Code Chapter 22 which is causing and inflicting injury. The Police Force reminds the public, especially school students, to avoid bullying because it can lead to criminal acts. The public is also reminded not to speculate and spread unsubstantive information that may affect the safety of any party.
