Visits organised by the Mukim and Kampung Consultative Councils in the country can further enhance the efforts of promoting village products apart from building and enhancing the existing business network. Natural resources that can be found along Sungai Batu Apoi such as rumbia sago palm trees can benefit the village residents especially in producing ambulung.
A 40-member delegation from the Kampung Jerudong Consultative Council made a visit to the Temburong District. Briefing on the ambulong processing was delivered by Awang Haji Daud bin Haji Masri, the Village Chief of Kampong Batu Apoi. A variety of popular food products made from sago was also produced by said consultative council.
The delegation also visited the recreational area and fishing huts in Kampong Belais and Buda-Buda. The huts feature a village that is built from concrete and wood.
