Visit Historic Places in the Holy City

The country's intending haj pilgrims took the opportunity of their free time to visit historic places in Madinah, including Masjid Quba or Quba Mosque. The house of worship was the first mosque built by Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam.

The trip from the Dallah Taibah Hotel where some of the intending haj pilgrims are staying to Masjid Quba takes approximately fifteen minutes. During the short journey the intending haj pilgrims were briefed on matters or benefits that make visiting the mosque a special act of faith and a valuable experience. Masjid Quba is very significant to Muslims because it was built by the Messenger of Allah shortly after arriving in Madinah, the city of the Ansars who believed in Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam and invited the Messenger of Allah to live in their city. Madinah eventually became the home and final resting place of the Great Prophet.
