Visit to Arafah and Mina Tents

The delegation from the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office for Administration and Medical yesterday made a visit to the Arafah and Mina tents. The visit was to ensure all preparations run smoothly before the pilgrims depart for Arafah.

The delegation first took a closer look at the Arafah tents. Leading the delegation was Awang Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad, Director of Haj Management, Ministry of Religious Affairs as the Head of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office in Saudi Arabia for the 1443 Hijrah / 2022 Haj Season.

The provision of a surau for the intending pilgrims was the focus of the visit. The surau, provided with 5 air conditioning units as well as high quality air cooler will certainly provide comfort to the country’s intending pilgrims while performing religious acts in Arafah.

Another focus of the visit was the tents accommodating the country’s intending pilgrims.

The delegation next headed to Mina. The tents provided are equipped with air conditioners and sleeping areas that can accommodate 19 to 20 people in a room. Also provided are temporary clinics for the officers of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office for Medical. Also present at the visit was Dr. Haji Muhammad Nurhasanuddin bin Abdullah Kelali, Head of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office for Medical.
