Students who suffer from Dyslexia always receive attention from the Ministry of Education, especially the Special Education Unit. This is evident through the visit by experts from the Japan Dyslexia Society and Dyslexia Association of Sarawak.
Yesterday afternoon, delegates from the two bodies visited the Special Education Unit and interacted met the students with Dyslexia and their parents in a meet and greet session. During the session, nine students were introduced to the visitors. The Japan Dyslexia Society is led by Eiko Todo, its founder and Chairman while the Dyslexia Association of Sarawak was led by Ong Puy Hoon, the President of the association. Also present was Awang Haji Ali Yusri bin Haji Abdul Ghafor, the Acting Head of Special Education Unit, Ministry of Education and Doctor Mona Aliana binti Dato Paduka Haji Alimin, the Deputy head of the Special Education Unit.
