Visit to the Royal Regalia Museum

Yesterday morning, the ASEAN Rover Scouts visited the Royal Regalia Museum in Bandar Seri Begawan.

The delegation of more than 300 male and female rover scouts had the opportunity to take a closer look at the royal heritage showcased in three main galleries namely the Istiadat Perpuspaan tahun 1968 or 1968 Coronation Ceremony, Galeri Diraja or Royal gallery and Galeri Jubli Perak or Silver Jubilee Gallery. The royal carriage used during the Procession Ceremony in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam Accession to the Throne in 1992 was among the items that caught the attention of the rover scouts.

Also attracting the attention of the visitors were the Royal regalia such as the Taming, Lembing and Payung Diraja used to accompany the Royal Carriage. The ASEAN Rover Scouts also took opportunity to buy souvenirs to bring home to their respective countries.
