His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah reminds all Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF senior officers that it is vital to possess high integrity, pure, honest, just and trustworthy behaviours, and not to only be proud with the external image if the leadership and mastery are still weak, and only the presentation is great while hidden within are troublesome attitudes.
His Majesty made the reminder in a titah at the Official Opening of the new Security Education Centre building, Defence Security Branch, Defence Minister’s Office and Directorate Strategic Planning, yesterday morning. In the titah, His Majesty stresses that the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces are the defence pillars which play a very important role in maintaining peace, well-being and security of the nation. Therefore, His Majesty emphasises that efficient and effective management is needed at all levels of leadership. His Majesty stresses that with the budget allocation for the financial year 2022/2023, it is hoped that all planning listed in the Defence White Paper 2021, Force 2035 and Force structure review, F-S-R, will truly be realised according to priority and need.
