Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad, BSM, confirms that BSM received a report from Mar'azmala Fuel Station in Kampung Jerudong and complaints from customers whose cars had stalled after purchasing fuel from the station. This matter has also gone viral on social media.
After receiving the report, the station has stopped its operation. It will only be reopen upon confirmation that the fuels at the station are free from water contamination. Product quality checks and rectification works are being carried out by Mar'azmala Station and supported by BSM.
BSM would like to assure the public that investigations have been conducted and it is confirmed that only one station is affected.
