Bandar seri begawan: Several areas under the Berakas Tank catchment are experiencing water supply disruptions and low water pressure. The Public Work Department announced that the affected areas include Berakas Camp, Skim Tanah Kurnia Rakyat Jati Lambak Kiri, Kampung Lambak Kiri, part of Jalan Pasir Berakas, Jalan Utama Berakas, Jalan Terunjing Baru, Lambak Kanan Industrial Area, and surrounding areas. The Department is currently conducting investigations to determine the cause of the disruption.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the cleaning of the Nakhoda Ragam Water Tank will be carried out on the 2nd of July, starting at 8 in the morning until the work is completed. Following this, some of the affected areas might experience low water pressure, especially in areas of higher ground. The affected areas include Pekan Kuala Belait, Los Tanjung, and surrounding areas.
Additionally, the cleaning of the Tanajor 'A' and 'B' tanks will also be carried out on the 2nd of July, from 8 in the morning until the work is completed. Areas affected by this include Kampung Tanajor in Mukim Labi and its surroundings.
