The Women's Special Assembly in conjunction with the National Level Maulidur Rasul Celebration will be held today, the 5th of November at the Royal Berkshire Hall, Jerudong at 8:30 in the morning. To ensure the smooth running of the event, a full rehearsal was held yesterday morning. In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairman of the Executive Committee for Major Islamic Events 1442 Hijrah.
Also present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd. Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The theme for this year's celebration is 'Membangun Dengan Akhlak Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam.'
In together curbing the spread of COVID-19 in the country, guests attending the assembly are required to adhere to the stipulated guidelines. This includes registering using the BruHealth application to obtain the green or yellow code; wearing face mask is compulsory; scan the QR code and undergo body temperature checks.
Aside that, guests are required to sanitise their hands using hand sanitizers; carry out physical and social distancing; avoid shaking hands with others; and not to attend if feeling unwell. Children under 12 years old are not allowed to attend.
