Work-life Balance Policy Workshop Held to Promote Syariah Principles

Brunei: The Ministry of Health, through its Mental Health Strategy Unit and Health Promotion Centre, collaborated with several governmental bodies to organize a workshop aimed at drafting a Work-life Balance Policy. This event was held at Dewan Al-'Afiah within the Ministry of Health premises, bringing together key stakeholders from the Public Service Department, the Prime Minister's Office, the Labour Department, Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA).

According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop featured a sharing session on "Work-Life Balance in Realising Maqasid Syariah." This session was led by two guest speakers from Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPUSB) and Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. The discussions focused on integrating work-life balance principles with the objectives of Syariah, ensuring that employees can achieve a harmonious balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being.
