According to Dr. Than Maung Chit, Brunei Cancer Centre Medical Officer, there are 4 stages of cancer with stages 1 and 2 being the early stages, while stages 3 and 4 are the late stages. Therefore if a person gets cancer at a later stage which are stages 3 or 4, the effect will be more. If possible, be more open with your doctor or medical practitioner as they will be discreet and confidential.
